Is Polished Concrete Safe and Suitable for Gardens?

A full high gloss polish, the kind you might picture in a showroom kitchen, isn't something we'd recommend for an outdoor garden floor. That level of sheen can become slippery when wet, which isn't ideal for a British garden.

Instead, for exterior projects we install a honed, satin or exposed aggregate finish, often combined with a slip-rated sealer and, where needed, an anti-slip additive worked into the surface.
